DIG EMBER v1.01
DIG EMBER v1.01
The sky belongs to them: gunships, carpet bombers, transport planes
dropping troops right on your head. The ground is yours — all 800
tiles of it, and every single one can be shot, drilled or blasted
into someone's face.
DIG EMBER is an endless side-view survival shooter about choosing
your ground. Hold the surface and trade lead with the waves, or dig
straight down and fight in tunnels you carved yourself. The enemy
doesn't mind. Once you go underground, infantry start chewing their
way down after you, and the portals keep feeding new things into the
dark.
When you die — and you will — the bounty you banked buys permanent
upgrades. The next run starts with a faster drill, a bigger magazine,
and bullets that punch through one more wall.
FEATURES
- A fully destructible 80x800 map across four biomes: mountains,
forest, a half-ruined city, and a plateau with a very long cliff.
- Noita-style water and lava. They flow, pool and pour through the
tunnel you just opened, and cancel each other out on contact.
Underwater means a breath meter. Lava just means damage.
- 16 enemy types: riflemen, shielded breachers, rocketeers, tanks
that rocket-jump into your tunnel, strategic bombers dropping a
bomb you can shoot down mid-air.
- Weak points. A soldier's head, a tank's rear — every enemy carries
a spot that takes double damage, with a beat of hit-stop and a
small camera lean to let you feel it land.
- Friendly fire is on for everyone. Every explosion hits every unit,
including the enemy's own formations. Use that.
- Supply crates fall under gravity and can be opened from range.
Shoot one, see what's inside, then decide if it's worth the walk.
- A reactive soundtrack that shifts between calm, sneak, combat and
danger as the fight changes.
- Blood, debris and scorch marks stay on the map (adjustable in
settings). A long fight should look like one.
- 34 permanent upgrades. Six languages. Your best wave is saved.
Beat it.
Controls: WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to fire, right
click to dig. That's the whole tutorial.
